IF YOU ARE TRANSFERRING (PORTING) THEN FOLLOW BELOW 4 STEPS
- Reply YES to SMS message from your current Provider to Transfer your number.
- Wait for mobile signal to 100% disappear from your current provider it may take 1-2 hours to complete the porting process.
- Remove old SIM Card from your phone for current provider and Insert Public Mobile SIM Card and restart your phone.
- Your Public Mobile SIM should be working by now.
- IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to set up Self-Serve (selfserve.publicmobile.ca) once your number is working so you can top up or make changes to your account.

1. We will activate a temporary number as per selected plan which you you should use immediately and Create A Self-Serve account
2. After you login to Self-Serve account , remove Public SIM Card from your phone and insert Koodo / Telus SIM Card with an Active Account.
3. Click on Change number under My Profile and Select Transfer and enter your number and you will see a link to contact moderator and submit ticket & follow instructions to complete your transfer.
